Landscapes tell stories about how and where
we live. They are timelines, charting the
activity of humans and non-humans
with no end point in mind.

Natural environments.
Urban environments.
Built environments.
All stitched together into one.

Countless networks and systems
hiding within.

My intention is to bring to light
those intricacies of the natural world
that remain silent, untouched, or unnoticed.

"After working as a studio artist throughout
my entire adulthood, I see my art evolving
into a hybrid practice-
an interdisciplinary approach that blends
visual arts,
science,
environmental studies,
and the use of technology
to communicate and to illustrate.

My work is project oriented.

Plant material may be incorporated within
the piece but often out of context from what
seems most familiar. Pieces may evolve over
time as living material grows, hinting at what’s
below the surface and slowly altering in real
time what we see and how we see."
